Please read these Terms carefully. By engaging Detile Digital for any service — construction, renovation, or digital marketing — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not engage our services.
Detile Digital Inc. ("Detile Digital", "we", "us", "our") is a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, offering construction, renovation, and digital marketing services. These Terms apply to all clients, website visitors, and individuals or entities ("Client", "you") who:
A binding agreement is formed when you sign a proposal, pay a deposit, or provide written confirmation to proceed with any service.
All construction and renovation services are governed by a written Scope of Work ("SOW") provided to the Client prior to commencement. The SOW details materials, timelines, inclusions, exclusions, and payment milestones. Changes to the agreed scope ("Change Orders") must be submitted in writing and signed by both parties before work proceeds. Change Orders may affect pricing and timelines.
Detile Digital will assist in the permit application process where included in the SOW. However, permit approval is at the sole discretion of the relevant municipal authority. Delays caused by permit processes beyond our control do not constitute a breach of contract.
We warrant our workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of project completion ("Handoff Date"). This warranty covers defects in workmanship directly attributable to our work. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party modifications, normal wear and tear, or acts of nature. Manufacturer warranties on materials and fixtures apply separately.
Any deficiencies must be reported in writing within fourteen (14) days of the Handoff Date. We will address confirmed deficiencies within a reasonable timeframe at no additional cost. Deficiencies reported after 14 days may be treated as new work and quoted accordingly.
Digital marketing services are provided under a monthly or fixed-term Service Agreement. The Agreement specifies deliverables, timelines, payment terms, and reporting cadence. Month-to-month agreements require 30 days' written notice for cancellation.
You agree to provide timely access to any accounts, assets, or information required to deliver the agreed services (e.g., Google Ads account, website credentials, brand assets). Delays caused by missing client materials may extend agreed timelines without penalty to Detile Digital.
Digital marketing results (rankings, leads, conversions) are influenced by many factors outside our control, including search engine algorithm changes, market competition, and ad platform policies. We do not guarantee specific results. We commit to professional best practices, transparent reporting, and continuous optimization.
Ad spend (Google Ads, Meta Ads budgets) is separate from management fees and is paid directly by the Client to the relevant platform unless otherwise agreed in writing. We are not responsible for charges incurred directly on Client-owned ad accounts.
Upon full payment of all outstanding invoices, the Client owns all deliverables specifically created for them (e.g., website, logo, ad creative). Detile Digital retains ownership of any proprietary tools, templates, frameworks, or methodologies used in service delivery.
Payment terms are specified in your proposal or service agreement. General terms include:

Invoices are due within seven (7) days of issuance unless stated otherwise. Overdue invoices accrue interest at 2% per month. Detile Digital reserves the right to pause or suspend services on accounts with overdue balances.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Detile Digital's total liability to any Client shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages including lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to mediation in Surrey, BC, before proceeding to litigation. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and, where material, communicated to active clients by email. Continued use of our services following such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We believe in fairness and transparency. This policy explains when refunds are available, how cancellations work, and what to expect at each stage of your project. For questions, contact us at info@Detiledigital.ca before making any payment.
A deposit of 25%–50% of the total project value is required to secure your project slot and begin material procurement. Deposits are non-refundable once:
If none of the above conditions are met and you cancel within 48 hours of signing the agreement, we will refund the deposit in full, minus any administrative fees incurred.
If you cancel a construction or renovation project after work has commenced:
If you believe completed work contains deficiencies, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of the project Handoff Date. We will inspect and address confirmed deficiencies at no charge. Withholding final payment due to unverified deficiencies or disputes unrelated to our workmanship is not permitted under these Terms.
All Change Orders are non-refundable once work associated with the change has been completed or materials have been ordered. Unused allowances on Change Orders may be credited at our discretion upon project completion.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@Detiledigital.ca with at least 30 days' notice for month-to-month services.
One-time projects include website design, logo creation, SEO audits, and similar deliverable-based work.
Advertising spend paid directly to Google, Meta, or other platforms is governed by those platforms' own refund policies and is not refundable by Detile Digital. We are not responsible for charges incurred on Client-managed ad accounts. We will work with you to pause or stop campaigns promptly upon written request.
If Detile Digital fails to deliver agreed services for reasons within our control for more than 14 consecutive days without notice, you may request a pro-rated refund for the period of non-delivery. This does not apply where delays are caused by Client inaction (e.g., failure to provide required access or approvals).
To request a refund or cancellation:
Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your financial institution. Chargebacks initiated without prior communication may result in suspension of services and additional collection costs where permitted by law. We will cooperate fully with any chargeback investigation and provide all relevant documentation.
Detile Digital may, at its sole discretion, offer goodwill refunds or credits in circumstances not covered by this policy. Such decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and do not create a precedent for future requests.
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall first be addressed through negotiation, then mediation in Surrey, BC, before proceeding to litigation.
